SAT Application Guide for Council of the Strata Company/or Owner
The place to go to lodge an application is https://ecourts.justice.wa.gov.au/ecourtsportal/home/
- On the Left Hand Side of this website select State Administrative Tribunal
- Select I know the Act and Section I wish to apply under then click next
- Select Strata Titles Act 1985
- Select the section of that Act that you are making an application under. Your Strata Manager can provide you with further information about the section of the Strata Titles Act that applies to your situation. Please note that your Strata Manager is not qualified to provide legal advice.
This section otherwise lists various sections of the Strata Titles Act that may be applicable and includes a brief description of what each section applies to.
- Once you have selected the section to which your application applies, select Start Application on the bottom right hand side.
- Enter a name for your application and save.
- Upload any supporting documentation – this needs to include a copy of the Strata Plan, By-Laws and any other applicable notices or documents
- Enter personal details
Note:
Please be advised that SAT has altered their procedure for lodging documents against a SAT matter. All documents must be submitted on the e-courts portal only from 1st July 2023, and not via email. No email to SAT will be viewed nor lodged onto a SAT Matter if sent via email.
SAT has also advised that only named parties can lodge documents or a nominated point of contact for a SAT matter.
